Tentpole platform terms: Tentpole is a booking platform that connects vendors with event organizers. Tentpole is not the event organizer and is not responsible for the event, your booth, the products or services you sell, payments or fees between you and the organizer, or any loss, injury, damage, or dispute arising from the event. Your agreement for this spot is with the event organizer, not Tentpole. Booth fees are set by the organizer and may be non-refundable.

Nothing is charged today. Your card is verified and kept on file — you're only charged the booth fee (+5% platform fee) if the organizer accepts your application. You'll be notified either way.
You'll hear back by email once the organizer reviews it. Creating a free tentpole account afterwards lets you track it, message the organizer, and add your card (you're only ever charged a booth fee if you're accepted).
