When refunds are issued, and who is responsible for them.
Effective: June 23, 2026 · Version: 1.0
Monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months or years. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Exception: If you are within your first 14 days of a paid subscription and have not used substantial paid features (e.g., not approved more than 5 vendor applications, not run a paid event), you may request a one-time courtesy refund by emailing billing@thetentpole.com. Approval is at TentPole's sole discretion.
The 5% TentPole platform fee added to vendor booth payments is non-refundable to TentPole, even if the underlying booth fee is refunded by the organizer.
If the organizer fully refunds a vendor, TentPole may, at its discretion, refund the platform fee as a courtesy. Contact billing@thetentpole.com within 30 days.
Booth fee refunds are governed by the organizer's published terms, which the vendor accepts at the time of application. TentPole does not issue refunds for booth fees on behalf of organizers, except where a chargeback is filed and resolved against the organizer.
Vendors with booth fee disputes should contact the organizer first. If unresolved, contact disputes@thetentpole.com.
Attendee ticket refunds are governed by the organizer's published ticket policy. TentPole may facilitate the refund through the payment processor but is not the merchant of record for ticket sales.
If an organizer cancels an event:
Filing a chargeback without first contacting TentPole or the relevant counterparty may result in account suspension, additional fees, and collection efforts for any costs imposed on TentPole.
Refunds are issued in the original currency. TentPole does not refund currency conversion or third-party payment processor fees.
