Subscription & Billing Terms

Recurring billing, trials, renewals, and price changes.

1. Subscription Plans

TentPole offers tiered subscription plans (currently "Core" and "Pro") billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is at thetentpole.com/pricing. Features and limits are described there and may be updated with notice.

3. Billing Cycle

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually). The renewal charge is taken on the renewal date using the payment method on file. We may attempt the charge multiple times if the first attempt fails.

4. Payment Method

You authorize TentPole and our payment processor (currently PayPal) to charge the payment method you provide. You agree to keep your payment method current and accurate.

5. Annual Plans

Annual plans are paid upfront. Switching to monthly during an annual term does not result in a refund of the unused portion. Switching from monthly to annual may be prorated.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.

For existing subscribers, TentPole will provide at least 30 days' notice of price changes via email. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

9. Platform Fees

Separate from subscription fees, TentPole charges a platform fee on vendor booth payments processed through the Service. The current rate is 5% added on top of the booth fee, paid by the vendor. The organizer receives the full booth fee less third-party processor fees.

10. Taxes

Subscription and platform fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes. We may collect and remit taxes where required by law.

11. Invoices and Receipts

Invoices and receipts are emailed and available in Settings → Billing. Annual invoices include a downloadable PDF for accounting purposes.

13. Late Fees and Collections

Unpaid amounts past 30 days may incur a late fee (1.5% per month, or the maximum permitted by law). After 90 days, TentPole may engage a collections agency at your cost.
